Beyond Borders
for Peace

About us

We do not wait for change. We make it.

Peace is not a privilege. It is a right. It is not given. It is built. It does not belong to one nation. It belongs to humanity.
Two men shake hands across a table, each holding a folder with the Beyond Borders for Peace logo, while colleagues look on.
With our partner, Future Hope Charity Organization, in 2025.

Beyond Borders for Peace was founded on the belief that peace is not a distant dream but a daily choice. We refuse to accept a world where instability in one place ripples into suffering across many. We refuse to stand by while generations lose their futures to war.

We exist to bring solutions where there are only problems, to amplify voices that go unheard, to build independence where there is reliance, and to create opportunities where none exist. We invest in youth, in ideas, in communities and in hope.

The road is long and the challenges are great. Join us. Stand with us. Build peace beyond borders.

Who we are here for

Afghan communities. We are registered in Sheffield, and all of our work so far has been in Afghanistan, with vulnerable people including women, children and those affected by conflict.

Where we are today

Since we were founded in February 2025, our work has focused on Afghanistan:

  • Education support for orphaned children, through Project Mahia
  • Food and direct support for over 1,500 families during Ramadan 2026, through Tables of Hope
  • Working alongside Future Hope Charity Organization in Kabul

What we are working towards

We were set up to grow into wider support for Afghan communities, including:

  • Education and vocational training
  • Support for Afghan refugees and displaced people
  • Mental health support
  • Cultural events that preserve Afghan heritage

How we are set up

A community interest company

A community interest company, or CIC, is a UK company that exists to benefit a community rather than to make profit for private owners. If we make a surplus, it goes back into our programmes and humanitarian aid. We are not a political party or a political campaigning organisation. Because we are a CIC and not a registered charity, we cannot claim Gift Aid on donations.
